Haakman Flowerbulbs is located in Wevershoof, right in the centre of the Dutch bulb region. If you export tulips and you want to deliver excellent quality, then you have to keep everything under control.
A good sparring partner keeps you alert and enthusiastic. In 2008 we joined forces with Menting Bulb Nursery in the North East Polder; a powerful partner who is conveniently located in an area ideal for cultivating large areas of tulips.
In 2010, in order to be able to supply a broad spectrum and maintain a feel for forcing tulips, we set up H&M Flowers, a completely independent company that concentrates on forcing tulips at the higher end of the market. This has given us invaluable experience which we use to take our customers to a higher level.

Covering an area of 8,800 m² of which 5,000 m² is glasshouse for the internal tulip nursery.
Our premises boast no fewer than 15 cool cells of which the reception hall is one of the most important. Here we can store more than 50 million tulips at a time. The temperature is always between 20 and 23 degrees, which is ideal for tulip bulbs intended for forcing. In addition, we have a branch in New Zeeland, which allows us to supply our customers all year round.
